About our Scholarships and Grants

Black Transmen, Inc. is pleased to be able to offer the following grants and scholarships. All grants and scholarships are subject to availability of funds (please considering donating to BTMI to make it possible to support our community).

Brother 2 Brother Binder Grant Program (ongoing)

Black Transmen Inc, working with our community partners, will award Free New & Gently Used binders for transmen and boys in low-income communities through the Brother 2 Brother Binder Grant program.  Our program is designed to support your safe and healthy transition, providing binders to those who are in need, and simply cannot afford to purchase a binder on their own.  All transmen who are focused on advancing black trans equality are urged to apply!  Let us know if you have binder(s) to donate!** (See the above link for full details).

2021 Top Surgery Grant Program (ongoing)

As a part of our mission to improve the health and well-being of the people in the communities we serve, BTMI is offering a grant of up to $1000 to assist with the  financial obligation for undergoing elective gender affirming top surgery for Black and African American trans men in the U.S. only.   See the link above for full details.
